3. Afrika Korps Q&A from "The Question Box" in Avalon Hill's General Magazine, Volume 22, Number 2. I reviewed all General magazines subsequent to the publishing of the 1980 (third) edition rules. I found only one Question Box inquire concerning Afrika Korps. It is contained at the end of the text document titled "AK Replay" (the commentary also contains the commentary for Afrika Korps Replay and AK Contest 59). The Question Box commentary is at the end of the document.

4. Another Afrika Korps Gambit by Stephen Packwood. Appeared in Avalon Hill's General magazine, Volume 15, Number 5. Describes a play that sends an Axis Recce unit to the British Home Base south of the escarpments. This is contained in a separate Winzip file titled "Afrika Korps, Another Gambit.zip" that consists of a Word97 document titled "Another Afrika Korps Gambit" and one picture (.jpg) titled Another AK Gambit. Double Click on either the document or the picture to view. The document contains one embedded Table.

5. Afrika Korps Theory by Jonathan Lockwood. Appeared in Avalon Hill's General magazine, Volume 17, Number 3. A broad article covering the entire game. 7. Back to Basics by Rob Beyma. Appeared in Avalon Hill's General magazine, Volume 18, Number 4. Basic German alternatives in Afrika Korps. This is contained in a separate Winzip file titled "Afrika Korps, Basics.zip" that consists of a Word97 document titled "Afrika Korps Back to Baiscs" and three pictures (.jpg) titled "AK Basics, Diagram 1-3". Double Click on either the document or the pictures to view. The document contains five embedded Charts.

The articles are all in Word97 format. There are charts and tables in some of those articles. Charts and tables don't show correctly in earlier editions of Microsoft's Word programs. The pictures are all in ".jpg" format so they should be visible on most systems that permit have internet access. The pictures have not been embedded in the Word97 document due to both size and viewing problems with some systems.

If you have any difficulty viewing or need pictures instead of the ADC2 Replay for the Afrika Korps Series Replay or Contest 59, contact me specifying the format that your system can handle for documents and/or pictures. I'll be happy to re-format the material if my system has the capability.
